Life often presents us with heavy and unforeseen challenges, ones that hit us before we even have time to process. Just when we feel we are grappling with the unexpected, urgent decisions and solutions demand our attention. We’ve all experienced loss—whether it’s of loved ones, jobs, finances, relationships, peace, or security—and it often leaves us feeling defeated, ashamed, anxious, frustrated, and desperate. If only tears could express the depth of our pain.

But hope is knowing that nothing is permanent—not even the struggles that scar us.

Child of God, you are never alone. You are not abandoned, nor are you without help. There is a Friend who sticks closer than a brother. When everything feels unstable, there is an unwavering anchor to hold onto. A solid Rock that will never be moved. Christ is here to uphold you. He will not let you go. He will wipe away your tears, renew your hope, make a way, and bring you victory.

Because He lives, you can face tomorrow. As you step into a new week, may you do so with the hope and belief that things will work out for you. May you experience God’s favor and strength, and may the battles you’ve faced become stepping stones to your next level.

Understand this: one of the most transformative moments of your life will be when you find the courage to let go of what you cannot change. Life is too short to wage war with yourself.

Don’t fight against yourself—fight for yourself.
