What’s on My Mind? Gratitude.
Life is often surrounded by uncertainty and challenges. We face these moments individually, with friends and colleagues, as a nation, and sometimes even as a global community. Regardless of the source of your fear, anxiety, or stress, gratitude is the perfect prescription for better health and improved well-being during tough times.
Today, I am reminded to embrace gratitude in every season of life. Its true power revealed itself to me when I chose to be grateful even when everything around me suggested otherwise.
God calls us to be grateful in all circumstances. He reigns sovereignly and accomplishes His will with purpose and wisdom. He is not indifferent to what happens in our lives—God is in control. Gratitude doesn’t require perfect conditions. It’s a deliberate choice, a commitment to say “thank you,” even when the path is hard.
Did you know that gratitude generates positive energy, which in turn attracts more blessings into our lives, including spiritual ones? Gratitude has the power to manifest abundance. When we are thankful for what we already have, we open our lives to receive even more.
Practicing gratitude can have incredible benefits, such as:
- Reducing depression
- Lessening anxiety
- Supporting heart health
- Relieving stress
I pray that you end each day and begin each morning with a heart full of thanksgiving and praise. May your life overflow with gratitude, bringing joy, peace, and abundant blessings.
